I realize that I am replying to my own email, however, I spent some
time with Ethereal and GPSdrive. GPSdrive simply sends UDP packets to
a server. I looked at the packets that are sent and they only contain
the userid and the location (LAT / LONG). I believe this is an easier
project than I orginally thought; it should be a matter of writing a
small program to parse the incoming gps data and then send udp packets
wirelessly. Anyone else looked at this ?
