    I was able to have some sort a mail sender to the TS-7200

       You could try libsmtp ( libsmtp-0.8.tar.gz)   from http://libsmtp.berlios.de/

     For the TS-7200

        Boot on the Debian CF.
        If you have the 256MB CF , install an other  usb storage  and mount it has /usr/src

        download debian package for arm into the usb storage device

             libglib1.2-dev_1.2.10-4_arm.deb
             libglib1.2_1.2.10-4_arm.deb
             pkg-config_0.11.0-0.1_arm.deb

            install them    (use dpkg -i)

         uncompress  the libsmtp library. and compile it.

            cd  /usr/src/libsmtp-0.8
           ./configure
           cd smtp

        modify the "mail" quote   inside the smtpmail.c to your mail server

           make
           cd ..
           make

           cd examples
           ./smtpmail                  this should work! ( it's work for me )  It send warning at  my sms cell phone.

         P.S.
                The installation on the flash is trickier.
                You need to create /usr/lib with some libraries
                        libcrypto.so.0.9.6
                        libdns.so.5 -> libdns.so.5.3.0
                        libdns.so.5.3.0
                        libisc.so.4 -> libisc.so.4.1.0
                        libisc.so.4.1.0
                        libpthread.so -> /lib/libpthread.so.0

                Also you will need to put the IP smtp server name  instead of his  litteral name.
                Use dig to find the IP of your smtp name server.

               Now my question!  What is needed to the ts-7200, without CF installed, to convert name query to IP address ?

          Hope is usefull
         Daniel

There's always sendmail or exim with a nullclient configuration, along
with mimencode for doing the formatting :-)

Do a search for opensource smtp clients. If you want to put perl on the
ts7250 there are perl modules for smtp - but sendmail would probalby be
smaller :-)

Not too useful
sorry
