Hi all

We are working on a number of embedded systems and are planning to use the
TS7200 and/or TS7250.

Does anyone have any information on the wearing of nor (ts7200) versus nand
(ts7250) flash?

Given that nand flash is accessed via a window, does this have any effect on
load and read/write cycle times?

Are there any performance hits in an embedded/quasi realtime environment?
(Not with standing the issues (flames) as to whether linux is realtime or
not!!) Its realtime enough for our particular application. At least with
the 0(1) scheduler and lowlatency patches applied.

Any other thoughts on the relative merits of the 2 flash technologies?

Is YAFFS (ts7250) now stable for production use?

Regards

Bob
