Yeah, I read that .
I realize that the patch is trivial, I just wanted the exercise of
making it work. I need to become more linux savy in short order (I
have just a few weeks). 
My Unix background was usually just to edit and navigate, user stuff.
I did work on a driver for SCO unix. Nothing complicated.
I generally work with completed releases of distros of Linux for home
hobby use, and never ran into anything that required patching ( I just
don't get enough time on it to really break stuff).

I guess I will just hand edit the file.
