I figured by now the real estate market is good in places like silicon valley and Denver and Austin because of the mass exodus of high tech jobs, but what do I know, I left that industry a few years ago and started my own home repair business. No ins, hard work, but I can still mess with computers and electronics in my spare time. Sorry to get OT here.

Right now, I travel 20 miles in 22 minutes, including some "city"
driving". I can buy a mansion (3 stories 3300 sqft+) for $400K
(happens to be my neighbor in my back yard and oh how I wish I would
have gone into big time hock for that place), however if (when ) I
loose me job , I will not be able to find another for over 100 miles
in any direction. Basically I live in the wilderness.

You got to give, to have.
