I can fdisk it and format it as DOS but it refuses to mount. If I format it as ext2, it mounts no problem. # mount -t msdos /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt/usb mount: Mounting /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 on /mnt/usb failed: No such device or # mount -t vfat /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt/usb mount: Mounting /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 on /mnt/usb failed: No such device # Formatted on the TS7200 with mkdosfs is recognized on an XP system no problem. Am I using the wrong file type? Thanks Doug Yahoo!
