Make sure you change the baudrate setting to 115200, and...

"cOnfigure minicom"->"Serial Port Setup"-> Hardware Flow Control" = No.
"cOnfigure minicom"->"Serial Port Setup"-> Software Flow Control" = No.

The other settings should be correct, I waisted a lot of time on this,
my first time. (oh ya you may need to be root, depending on the device
permissions)
