You'll need a cross-over cable connected to the DB-9 port. A simple 3-wire
one is (usually) sufficient; i.e. join the TS-7200 Tx to the PC Rx, Rx to
Tx and Gnd. Or to put it another way join pin 2 of one DB9 to pin 3 of the
other DB9, and vice versa, and join pin 5 straight through.

Hi
I am kind of embaressed asking this question, but i am a total serial
newbie, i just can't get minicom to work with my ts-7250.
The only useful thing i did with my board is see the flashing leds
when i connect the power
i am just wondering, are there different types of db9 cables maybe my
cable just does not connect the right pins together
thanks a lot
