BDM is/was a Motorola term for a debug port on a CPU
that let you read/write memory, registers, single step etc.
Background Debug Mode is I think what the letters stand
for.
On the TS-7200, this would be accomplished by means of the
JTAG port on the CPU - except that the pins don't seem to
be brought out to a connector. So I think you are out
of luck on the TS-7200.
There may be software-only stubs floating around for the
ARM, but most people use the JTAP port these days.
