Hi, I was wondering if this camera is supported in any way by the pwc driver? I've given it a go and I seem to get a least part way. I installed the appropriate RPM for SuSE 9.3 and get at least this far. pwc: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. pwc Philips webcam module version 10.0.9-unofficial loaded. pwc Supports Philips PCA645/646, PCVC675/680/690, PCVC720[40]/730/740/750 & PCVC 830/840. pwc Also supports the Askey VC010, various Logitech Quickcams, Samsung MPC-C10 a nd MPC-C30, pwc the Creative WebCam 5 & Pro Ex, SOTEC Afina Eye and Visionite VCS-UC300 and VCS-UM100. pwc Trace options: 0x00a1 usbcore: registered new driver Philips webcam Also it seems to at least know about it a bit... # lsusb Bus 001 Device 002: ID 093a:2601 Pixart Imaging, Inc. Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 However xawtv -hwscan doesn't seem to know it. It just picks up my TV tuners. At this point I'm stuck for what to do. Am I missing something basic? Or am I wasting my time on a camera that's too new? If there's any additional information that I can give to help, just let me know. Thanks in advance, Joe _______________________________________________ pwc mailing list http://lists.saillard.org/mailman/listinfo/pwc |
