Hi everyone,
I have just bought a Phillips SP200NC webcam, sadly
without checking first if its supported under Linux.
I've searched with Google, and found two opinions - 1.
that pwc should be ok for it, and 2. that there's No
Hope of it Ever Working. Can anyone tell me which of
these is correct? Should I just grit my teeth and buy
myself a supported one?
If pwc will work, is it a case of adding the vendor id
or somesuch. I'm a reasonably competent C programmer,
but pointers would be welcome (no pun intended).
best regards,
mark
