I poked about a bit on the windows side, and it looks like the digital
zoom is all in software, not in the camera.  I was hoping that since the
specs say the camera can take 1280x960 stills, a useful digital zoom of x2
for a 640x480 image would be possible, but it looks like the logitech
windows side software just takes whatever image it gets and blows it up
rather than requesting the camera ship you a part of the higher resolution
image.  Bummer.

If anyone can confirm or deny this, I would appreciate it.
