The pwc device only supports YUV20. The kernel devs do not want
pallet conversion to take place in the kernel. You need to do that
in your software.

Hello, everybody. Recently I taked part in a project which required
to get video from Logitec Pro4000 web camera on Linux platform. I
finished it successfully by using V4L API.However, when I try to
change the palette property from YUV420 to RGB24, the VIDIOCSWIN
ioctl return -1.I checked my program and find nothing wrong. I used
pwc-9.0.2 as my web camera driver. Does it mean that the drive
don't support changing property? Or should I do some thing before
change the palette property to let it take effect?

It is my great pleasure to hear from you.
