No, John!
It will be kept open because we have an active link in the I.0 group to the main archive on yahoo groups

Hi Martyn,

Do you mean you will be deleting this Yahoo group completely at some point?

Hi Klas,

The new group should also be sending messages to your email inbox. I don't see why it wouldn't, unless they are getting diverted to your "Junk" or "Spam" folders.

As far as I understand it, this Yahoo group is not going anywhere. It is still active as an email-only service (although there may no longer be a group manager?). But as long as people continue to use it, it will still exist, even though I do realize that most of the action (of which there has been very little recently) has moved to the groups.io group. But there is nothing to say we can't still use this Yahoo email list if it is useful. At least that is my reading of the situation.

As of today, the Yahoo group still has 2,347 members and the groups.io group only 233. So, maybe m("yahoogroups.com","naturerecordists");" class=""> has not entirely outlived its usefulness?

Emanuelle, Kevin,

I am signed up and can read postings on the web. But not here, automatically in my mail program.
I guess that is what is disappearing. Sigh...

Quiet here. Is this mail coming through?
