Hi All,

Since neither group houses the archives, and the yahoo subscribers were not transfered to  the .io group, the yahoo group still seems like the place to reach the most folks at least for the time being. The hashtag rules over at the .io group has me baffled anyway, and my goal in life is to keep things simple online so I have more time to be outside with the soundscape!

We'll see how this evolves, but as far as I am concerned, still seems to be the place to do this!

Hi Max and Klas, It seems like everyone is simply talking to each other with old Yahoo email group, and not able to get posts up on the new .io site.

Hi Max, from my place, this list seems to work as always.

Hi Chris!
I've not been around for a while due to ill health, but have just started doing a bit of recording again. I too tried to join the group, but it appeared to have shut down? However, I just found a load of unopened stuff in my mail client with your name at the top. I won't write any more until I'm sure this is received.
Best regards

Martyn, thanks for all your work on getting us this far.  I just tried to post a message on the group to complement Ivano's start, I DID include a new hashtag that I created, and got the reply that my message will be posted "when it is approved by the moderator". I looked back to see whether I had ticked the wrong box or something but it did not seem to be under my control. This will be a nightmare for you if you have to approve all messages, maybe there is a moderator setting you can change?

Good luck !!

We tried to get everything transferred including the archive, it’s been a long road with little help from yahoo.

Stay tuned, it will all iron out soon

Hello All,

Wondering if this group was never properly transferred to groups.io and now has effectively disappeared.. I joined the "new" Naturerecordists group there but so far it only has a measly 60 members. Perhaps I joined the wrong crowd? I've never been a big contributor but always thoroughly enjoyed reading and browsing the posts over the past few years. It would be a real pity if this archive disappeared completely.

All the best,
David
