Dear list, I am involved in a research project to develop reindeer deterrents for railway tracks. A large number of reindeer are killed every year when herds walk into the railway area, which is a significant cost for the Sami reindeer herders. We are looking for (clean) recordings of predators on reindeer such as grey wolf and brown bear for experimental playback in enclosures. I am grateful for any advice where to look (databases, etc), or if anyone on this list has sounds they would be willing to lend to this project. More specifically we need sounds that are perceived as threatening or aggressive, contact calls such as howling are not useful. Thanks for you help! /Caspar |
