any experience good/bad with iOS stereo microphones?

Subject: any experience good/bad with iOS stereo microphones?

I recently posted about weaning myself off Sony MiniDISC stereo room/music =
recording and moving to Zoom H1n. I'm not looking to record a band and mul=
titrack ... just good ambient, immersive, stereo or binaural recording. H=
as anyone had experience with iOS stereo microphones for a iPhone 6+ like o=
ne of these: https://www.micreviews.com/guides/top-10-best-ios-microphones=

At first glance, it seems this could be just about as good as a H1n type d=
evice in terms of portability and usability ... and the cost of the microph=
ones aren't farr off the cost of the whole recording unit.

Does anyone have real, prior experience with this recording method compare=
d to using a H1n-type unit?
