Sony PCM-M10 remote control technical information

I recently found a forum posting describing the electrical signals used by =
the M10 remote control. It's more complicated than I was hoping. Seems to b=
e a hard wired version of infrared controls.=0D

I would love to be able to use them to rig up some kind of timer for unatte=
nded recordings, but I doubt I'd ever have time. Maybe someone else can do =
something with the information.=0D
