I have a LS-11 and routinely get 7+ hours recording time on 2700 and 2850 m=
Ah NiMH batteries, supplying PIP power to a Telinga SSM, same 24/96 setting=
s. I quickly found a recording that was 7 hours 40 min and I shut it off b=
efore the batteries died. My AutoPowerOff is set to 10 minutes. I haven't=
touched it in years so I don't recall if that was a conscious decision I m=
ade or a default I left untouched. So if testing proves that setting is ca=
using the problem on your device, one thing you might try is to check firmw=
are versions. My LS-11 is on v1.01 (I can't quickly see if there is a late=
r one and I've not touched mine as it is working). But, while it has been =
a number of years and I don't remember details, I do recall having a number=
of issues at the outset with the firmware that came installed (presumably =
v1.00) that were fixed by an upgrade.
