The annual 10 km run was held in Reykjavik on August 20 in advance of
The Reykjavik Marathon with thousands of participants. The atmosphere
was quite vivid and the participant were stimulated by the audience.

Please pay attention to a episode close to the end of the recording,
when a small aeroplane which is heard coming from the south-east flying
to north-west (around 26 minutis).

A Nagra BB+ was used together with R=F8de NT-2A in an 8 setup and NT55 as
the mid channel. The recording was made in MS-stereo.

The mics were located around 175 cm above the ground. Perhaps they
should be kept a bit lower to record the foodsteps of the participants.

Good headphones are recommended.
