Hello Klas,=0D =0D Mmmm, I'm confused again. =0D =0D I thought the point of the table I linked to, and of Johns spreadsheet, was= to ensure you had a pre-amp spec in the recorder that would prevent it fro= m dominating the mic self noise (including taking into account microphone o= utput).=0D =0D Or are you referring to noise beyond that added by the preamp?=0D =0D Cheers,=0D =0D Graham |
