A biologist friend who studies woodpeckers would like suggestions for unatt=
ended recording of woodpecker drumming and vocalizations near nest sites. H=
er Olympus LS-12 and a mic (unsure model) were just stolen. She wants to ge=
t another LS-12, but would like mic suggestions. I wonder whether a Primo e=
m-172 capsule would work well - whether it would handle weather. I made a m=
ic for my parabola from the em-172 and like the sound. My guess is desired =
budget would be less than $200.
Thanks,
Kevin
