If you do build your own enclosure (the Pelican mentioned by Gianni works g=
reat!) you can still connectorize your mic cables. The Buccaneer series of =
connectors from Bulgin range from IP66 rating to full submersion. It's no m=
ore waterproof than a good silicone feed-through, but it lets you disconnec=
t things and stow them in the case. =0D
