Reduced height SASS

Subject: Reduced height SASS

A scaled down SASS type rig has been discussed here before. Rather than red=
uce the distance between the mics by scaling it down in every dimension, I'=
m wondering what would be the effect of just reducing the height. I assume=
any reduction will make it less responsive to low frequencies. Is retainin=
g the original width going to halve that effect?

As well as reducing the weight, my aim is to make it a more practical size =
to fit into a backpack.
