Tom,

Forgot to say that you can test the acoustic transparency of any material b=
y
draping a piece over your head and also by blowing through it.

You will probably find that the finer the weave and the higher the
resistance to blowing through it, the more bass is cut. Thin closed plastic=

sheeting will affect the bass quite a lot.
