Hello Drew, I have a Mk1 GAP 73. While I like it very much as a studio DI device and, = with the right microphones, as a mic interface, I definitely wouldn't call = it 'quiet'. Certainly not by nature recording standards. I've no idea what they've done with the later models so I can't actually an= swer your question, but, unless they've made them very much quieter, which = is unlikely, I'd choose a different solution for the task. norman. |
