Hi, I have an Olympus LS-12 and a audio-technica AT2022 mic with a FEL 3.5= microphone preamp attached to it. I am interested in taping the morning c= horus of birds with this setup and am getting quite a bit of noise in it. I= was wondering if people had suggestions on the best settings on the LS-12 = that would minimize the noise level in the recordings. I used it yesterday= with the gain on the recorder set to "hi" and the level set to 40. Would i= t be better to set the gain to "mid"?=0D thanks for the help.=0D tom=0D |
