I have not seen or used these mikes. But looking at the online literature, =
I would posit that rather than being intended for a surround sound playback=
, this rig is simply an array of four binaural pairs, intended as audio sup=
port for a steerable 360-degree visual experience. The audio output of the =
player would presumably raise and lower the volume of each pair to track th=
e steering position of the visual element, to produce a binaural stereo out=
put.
