It's interesting to read that rhinos are sensitive to subsound like elephants and I wonder if the applies to all pachyderms. Subsound is easy to record with suitable recorders and mics, and seems to b= e a field which is poorly researched. Perhaps some of us could help. For instance to hippos use subsound underwater?
