Hi Klas,
If I can get the gear, then I will try that and see what happens, I'm still=
getting over my jet lag so it will be a couple of days, but I'll let you k=
now how things work out.
Thanks, very much,
David

Got an idea.
The PRO4W model is perhaps 20 years old and if you are lucky, there
is a General Electric Ni-Cad battery in it.
Then you can try to "shock" it.
Put a DC voltmeter over the battery clip and measure the voltage.
Then apply some 12-15 volts for a second or two, remove the shock and
measure the voltage. If it is higher than before, you can try to
shock it again. Not more than 3 seconds.
Best case you can get the accu back to 7,2 volts and use it normally.
Some times it works, sometimes not.
Or you can make it stop shortening the voltage rail and run the
microphone with a 9v battery connected.
You can=B4t damage anything, but I would recommend that you have the
handle switch in "off" position.

Hello David!
I guess there is no other way to fix it than replacing the battery.
Please send it here and mark the package "Guarantee repair".
Thanks,
Klas.
