The first one - "scream outside my tent" - is a barred owl. I hope there
is no doubt in anyone's mind about that. We had three going at it last
night that sounded even wilder than that. By the time I got my gear
together they had stopped. I should do David's thing of keeping the mics
in a tent ready to be activated from my living room. Or lashed to either
side of a tree would be cool if they could be weather-proofed for
semi-permanent deployment.
