you are right but i'm trying to understand the possibilities and limitation of
the recording situation. I've only done underwater recording for movie projects
so far and for that any coloration is welcome . The preamp i'm planning on
using is a Reson VP1000. When you said build a recording device what did you
have in mind ? i'm interested in getting a second hydrophone and i would
consider yours but i'm wondering if you tried it and if it works well within
its limited response.
