Nature Sounds Society Workshop still open for registration!
There is still room at the Thirtieth Annual Field Recording Workshop June
27-29, 2014 at San Francisco State University's Yuba Pass Field Campus in the
Sierra Nevada Mountains. Each year, this workshop brings together dynamic
speakers and trip leaders with participants interested in learning various
aspects of nature sound recording and the use of nature sounds in art, science,
and music.
This year's featured speakers will be Steve Bumgardner, creator of the amazing
Yosemite Nature Notes videos, Steve Sergeant, who will talk about podcasting
and surround sound with height, and sound designer Dan Dugan.
Housing is in platform tents or bring your own. Meals are provided in the
dining hall and in the field.
