Dear Recordists & Listeners,=0D
=0D
Been reading here since years without participation, so I hope my sudden an=
nouncement won't be considered as offensive.=0D
=0D
Kalerne Editions recently published a double CD recorded by French nature r=
ecordists Marc Namblard and Olivier Namblard. This work is devoted to an na=
tural area in Southern France, Les C=C3=A9vennes (yes the place that Robert=
 Louis Stevenson wrote about).=0D
So far we had extremely positive feedback from listeners and other professi=
onal recordists, I am inviting you to discover some audio extracts and more=
descriptions on the following webpage : =0D

Extract of the press release :=0D
" Marc & Olivier Namblard, audio-naturalists and listening wanderers, exami=
ning from childhood this contrasted and elusive landscape, situated in the =
southeast of the Massif Central, called "C=C3=A9vennes".=0D
Patience, exploration and familiarity with the natural environment have ena=
bled them to create a body of work of field recordings that are of the high=
est depth and quality. The best from amongst them have been assembled on th=
ese two disks, as an homage to the landscape of C=C3=A9vennes and to the so=
unds of its fauna. Amongst the subjects presented here: singing insects of =
the Causses, vultures feeding, passerine songs, underground streams, barkin=
g stags, rumbling storms, amphibian choruses and sheep bells.=0D
Two CDs and 28 page booklet with colour illustrations included.=0D
Duration : 70 min (cd 1), 60 min (cd 2). "=0D
=0D
Wish you all the best,=0D
