Gianni,

For fixed setups where weight is not a problem I use sealed lead acid Yuasa=

batteries which are robust and cost effective. They need a lead acid type
charger to avoid overcharging.

Am example would be the Yuasa NP12-6 6V, 12AH but there is a large range.
Lead acid batteries should be stored charged and I use mine in pairs so I
always have a swap available.
