Tascam DR680 - Getting "System Rom Error" frozen boot screen

Anyone know how to fix the dr680 when a "system rom error" appears?  Then i=
t freezes on "PORTABLE MULTITRACK RECORDER' bootup. I haven't used the reco=
rder in a few months and was surprised to see this.  I can't get it to work=
