Emil, This is good advertising copy but doesn't mean much in technical sound terms. I would expect any half decent digital recorder to give out what it= takes in - with the exception of analogue noise from the pre-amps. I am sure the mod lowers noise, but I would want quoted is what the input conditions were, including powering, mic impedance etc. What I would want to know is how the added noise from the recorder compares= with the internal mic noise of my Sennheiser mics which this quote doesn't= tell me. If it is as good as my pro quality SQN mixer, I would be tempted.= David Brinicombe |
