Magnus,

Perhaps there isn't just one way. Now that I have gone away from
Mini-Disc, with a Roland R-05 I plan to get an external hard
drive to put everything into. So that I have a dedicated place.
With the Mini-Disc, maybe I will put everything through Sonic
Stage first. At least it will have begun the journey. My tapes
will have to be turned into WAV also. I remember Xeno-Canto
offering to deal with bulk recordings. I wonder what they do it.

I have listened to all of your recordings on your site. Thank you
for the inspiration. It was also very educational. How do you
manage to cycle about with such precious equipment?

....but about organisation old recordings format, in my case I
have bunch of old cassette tapes I am going to transfer into WAV
files.
I already have several Terabits of WAV files I have organized
with different arrangement, so now I really need to find the best
way, or final method for such organisation.

Hi Magnus,

Just to say I have started to listen to your blog. Enjoyable,
thank you. I envy your equipment and your environment. Though I
almost got to Iceland once. However it inspires me to make the
most of my own sonic environment with the equipment that I have.
I have hundreds of hours of Mini disc sounds without any ideal
method of organisation as of yet.
