Hi all,

I hope that you will be interested here some recordings from the nocturnal tree
hyrax species of Africa. These are old recordings and used Sony and marantz
cassette recorders with Sennheiser ME66/67 mics, later on with Marantz PMG660.

Now my PMD 660 has died I hope to upgrade and my K6/ME67 mic is giving poping
noises due to the humidity levels here in coastal E Africa I am considering the
RODE NTG-3 mic over the more expensive Senn MKH series or the Sankens. Anyone
any experience with the Rode NTG-3? I will link this with the new PMD 661 or if
I get the buget a Sound Devices unit.

Cheers Andy Perkin
