Greetings, Does anyone know if one of the better portable recorders ( EIN better than -118 dBu ) has a timer function like the Olympus LS-7 had? I would have bought the LS-7 just for that function but it is no longer in production. Is there any alternative? Did Olympus include the timer in the LS-12 which replaced the LS-7? Barring that, is there any other way to set a recorder in a remote location for a few days and have it come on and record for an hour or two at a specified time? The only other approach I can think of is to install a 32GB SD card in my LS-11 and attach an external battery that will allow it to run continuously for 32 hours, but that is far from ideal and not exactly what I want to do. Many thanks. John John Crockett Westminster, Vermont Let us live in harmony With the Earth And all creatures That our lives may be a blessing. |
