I once lost a hard drive, the tape it was backed up to (yes, this was some =
time ago), plus the external disks, simultaneously from three different har=
dware flaws. I had to repeat two months of client work.

There was no lesson to be learned in that case. Except that sometimes, desp=
ite best practices, life bites you in the ass.
