Besides which, this scale emphasises that soundscapes recorded with omnis a=
re in their least processed state. As soon as we use other polar patterns w=
e are further altering the sound (frequency, phase, etc.) towards a specifi=
c purpose, which often involves isolating one particular sound source from =
the full field.
