Subject: | [Nature Recordists] Audio + Phantom over Cat5? |
From: | Paul Dickinson <> |
=C2=A0 Has anybody had any experience with using audio over cat5 baluns for nature= recording? I need to do a very long, lightweight run so I can monitor while= recording. So far, I'm looking at this: http://tinyurl.com/mwre26 (ETS InstaSnake PA202 Series 4-Channel Phantom Power Compatible CAT5 XLR Audio Baluns). My primary concerns are any added noise or balun-induced distortio= n. Any experiences shared will be most appreciated. Many thanks Paul Dickinson |
