Has anybody had any experience with using audio over cat5 baluns for nature= recording? I need to do a very long, lightweight run so I can monitor whil= e recording. So far, I'm looking at this: http://tinyurl.com/mwre26 (ETS In= staSnake PA202 Series 4-Channel Phantom Power Compatible CAT5 XLR Audio Bal= uns). My primary concerns are any added noise or balun-induced distortion. Any experiences shared will be most appreciated. Many thanks Paul Dickinson |
