I hadn't heard of Ocenaudio before, so I gave it a try. I installed the 64 =
bit version for Windows 7, and found that most of my wav files wouldn't ope=
n. It could open some mp3 files I had, but it appeared to go through the mo=
tions of opening the wav files, then just sit there.
I uninstalled it and tried the 32 bit version with more success. I was eval=
uating it purely with the intention of using it to generate spectrogram vid=
eos, and decided it was no better than anything else out there. Not sure wh=
y the 64 bit version had trouble with some files. Maybe it can't handle 24 =
bit files?
I don't think this program is Open Source, so I guess there's a chance that=
they'll start charging for it in the future? I wasn't able to find any sup=
port forums for it, but didn't look too hard.
