Spectralayers is a very interesting piece of software, but not a replacemen=
t
for Peak...it=B9s something completely unique (at least as far as I=B9m
aware...I=B9d love to know if anyone knows of anything similar for Mac).

It=B9s now sold by Sony, btw:

As far as alternatives to Peak go =AD Audacity is OK, ocenaudio is simple b=
ut
has a nice spectographic display...and both are free.
I=B9ve tried Wavelab, which is fine but I find the interface a bit annoying=
.
I=B9d be curious to know more about users=B9 experiences with Audition and
Soundforge (which doesn=B9t do CD authoring, as mentioned in the earlier
post).
I=B9m also a Peak user looking for other options...

And, while I=B9m at it...does anyone else on this list use Spectralayers ?
