Dear all. This is both an environmental and soundskape recording example. The Peace Parade was held in Reykjavik on December 23 as the last 3 decades= . The Quire of The College of Hamrahl=ED=F0 lead the march and sang some festivalsongs. The conductor was =DEorger=F0ur Ing=F3lfsd=F3ttir, who has l= ead this quire since 1967. I and my wife joined the procession as sometimes before. The quire meandered by in a long procession. Sometimes we walked along with the quire, but we stodd also stil while the quire passed by. Binaural microphones from Sound Professionals were used together with A Nagra Ares BB+. Headphones are recommended. http://www.hljod.blog.is/users/df/hljod/files/hamrahli_arkorinn.mp3 With best wishes for a happy holiday season, Arnthor Helgason |
