The first recording i made was 4'50" and the second 3'45" (the following d= ay) and on both occasions this bird made the same call continuously without deviating. A male Greenfinch sat in the top of the same tree and the calls stopped wit= hin a few seconds of the male flying off. On the second occasion i didn't see any other Greenfinch's in the area, how= ever the calling bird was the 'wrong side' of the tree both times. I haven=E2=80=99t heard it in the last two days Thanks Graham |
