I recently received a report from someone who tried a cheap Behringer C-2 w= ith a TASCAM DR-680. He experienced unexpectedly high levels of low-frequen= cy broad-band noise as long as the microphone was powered directly from the= recorder. Adding an external phantom power supply fixed the problem. So, m= y guess would be here that this cheap microphone was poorly balanced. Cheers, Raimund |
