Hi all, I'm currently in Niue on a bit of a recording trip/holiday, here's a soundscape recorded in the forest on the way to a local swimming spot, Matapa Chasm. More info on the location can be found here: http://www.niuetotal.com/attractions-matapa-ing.htm This may a bit rough in terms of level/eq as I don't have my usual desktop setup for editing etc. There's a gentle rolloff around 12dB @ 100hz to help tame some of the low end and the (downloadable) file is an mp3 @320kb to save bandwith. Equipment list: Sennheiser mkh30/40 SQN4s mini mixer Nagra SD recorder The bird: White-rumped Swiftlet. The link: http://tinyurl.com/7ujm58j I'll be updating my soundcloud feed in the next few weeks when I get home so be sure to check back. Regards, Grant. |
